Modern Online Radio with Liquidsoap
Modern Online Radio with Liquidsoap
About the Book
This book will show you how to create a more powerful, customized internet radio station with the software Liquidsoap. Liquidsoap offers many features that Icecast or Shoutcast alone does not, such as playlist scheduling, crossfading between tracks, live dj input with fallback to static playlist, and pretty much anything else you can imagine, as it exposes a full programming language interface.
However the learning curve can be a bit daunting. I'll walk you through creating all of the most popular radio features, such as scheduling, live dj, static playlists, and jingles. Then we'll go into some advanced things liquidsoap can do like audio effects and video.
You can read more about liquidsoap at their website.
