Jim Pappas has fallen in love with the writings of John Bunyan. He has made it his mission to bring them back into the public eye by a process he calls amplifying. Thus, The Pilgrim's Progress becomes The Pilgrim's Progress: New Amplified Version. Amplified means more than just morphinig 17th century English into more modern phraseology. It means an actual creative process whereby an especially adventurous or tender scene is extended twith more dialog, more description and sometime entirely new additions to the scene. An amplified version is everything from Bunyan's original work plus Jim's creative input. So, in short a Bunyan work reworked by Pappas becomes Bunyan on steroids
