About the Book
I have a lot of fears. Fears that are mainly paralyzing me into this world where a lot of things are frightful. I waited many years to start writing. I stopped myself from doing stuff just because I was not totally sure it was ok. I stayed home and dwell on what I could have done. I let my fears drive my life far too long. I had an opportunity, one that allowed be to understand what fear is and what power lurks in there. I was afraid but I was more determined to be able to understand a little more of it, in the hope embracing fearlessness. And just when I started on this path, it was the moment when NaNoWriMo 2014 was starting. I could not resist and mixed it all.
The book itself is an answer to: "what if I could see and talk to fear? What could be done? Can I be less afraid of fear itself?" The book is also a safe container of exploration, through a fantasy lens where the body and soul can share and support each other in the vulnerable moments. Fear becomes the game master and provides situations to destabilize trust and fall to the ground. She becomes the dictator as well as the saviour in this novel where fears are unrolled one after the other, pushing the limits and opening the eyes to other perspectives on the idea of Fear.
I approach a delicate and touching emotion through a light and readable story. Let’s get out of our comfort zone.
