It is a non-technical volume of about 100 pages with over 200 colorful stamp images.I have written a brief essay about the story that the stamp tells. Also included is a mini-course in basic economic history illustrated with the stamps and as well as a checklist of the featured stamps.The book also features exhibits of the automobile and toy industries.
The mini-course in economic history is a unique feature of this book. American history is typically presented from the standpoint of political history. The focus of this book is economics and business, the source of a nation's standard of living.
